Remote Authentication for Off Campus Access
The WVU Libraries acquire electronic resources to support the research, teaching and learning needs of the students, faculty and staff of West Virginia University. Most electronic resources are available off-campus to eligible researchers.
Eligible Users.
Off-campus access is provided to current WVU-Morgantown students, faculty and staff. Licensing restrictions prevent WVU Libraries from providing access to others.
What is my Username?
Your username is the same username that you use to log into the computers at the WVU Libraries.
- WVU Students : Your username is the same as your Mix ID
- WVU Staff & Faculty : Your username is your Master ID (Lookup Your Master ID)
- Emeritus Faculty : Your username is your WVUID (700 or 199 number)
- Alumni : Your username is provided when registering (Alumni Portal Registration)
What is my Password?
Your password is the same password that you use to log into the WVU Libraries computers. It is the two digit day of your birth and the last four digits of your WVUID.
Example:
Your birthday is July 2, 1970 and your WVUID# is 700000000 -- you would enter 020000
